Auxiliary Climate Control Assembly (82.26.22)  

Removal

   WARNING: Since injury such as scalding could be caused by escaping steam or coolant, do not remove 

the filler cap from the coolant expansion tank while the system is hot. 

1 . 

  

Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to 

Specifications

 (Section 414-

00) 

2 . 

  

Remove the LH C-pillar lower trim panel For additional information, refer to 

C-Pillar Lower Trim 

Panel (76.13.34)

 (Section 501-05) 

3 . 

  

Evacuate the A/C system. For additional information, refer to 

Air Conditioning (A/C) System 

Recovery, Evacuation and Charging (82.30.02)

 (Section 412-00) 

4 . 

 

   WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the 

vehicle on safety stands. 

  Raise and support the vehicle. 

5 . 

  Support the exhaust system. Release the center, left and right rear mountings. 

6 . 

  Remove the exhaust heat shield. 

  

Remove the 4 nuts. 

7 . 

  Remove the spare wheel and tire.
