C-Pillar Side Impact Sensor (76.74.24)

WARNING: It is imperative that before any work is undertaken on the SRS system, the appropriate
information is read thoroughly.
WARNING: Always disconnect both battery cables before beginning work on the SRS system.
Disconnect the ground cable first. Never reverse connect the battery.
If the SRS component is to be replaced, the bar code of the new unit must be recorded.

Make the SRS system safe. For additional information, refer to

Remove the C-pillar lower trim panel. For additional information, refer to
C-Pillar Lower Trim Panel

3 .
Remove the side impact sensor.
Remove the 2 Torx bolts.
Disconnect the electrical connector.

Install the side impact sensor.
Tighten the Torx bolts to 8 Nm (6 lb.ft).
Connect the electrical connector.

Install the C-pillar lower trim panel. For additional information, refer to
