Front Seat Frame Squeak

DETAIL

During final inspection at Land Rover it was noted that a small number of vehicles exhibited an audible squeak emanating from the lower part of the front seats, This is due to movement in the slide mechanism making contact with the seat rails.

ACTION REQUIRED

Upon customer complaint or at pre-delivery inspection, if an audible squeak can be heard from the lower part of the front seat spray with PTFE Lubricant.

PROCEDURE

Adjust the front seat to its highest position to allow access, spray PTFE Lubricant onto the slide mechanism as shown in the illustration opposite.
