DETAIL

We have received a small number of reports through the dealer network which indicate a metallic rattle from under the driver and passenger front seats. Investigations have found this is due to the seat height adjuster spring rattling against the bar it is coiled around.

ACTION REQUIRED

Upon customer complaint of a rattle underneath the driver or passenger front seats, follow the procedure detailed below.

PROCEDURE

Adjust the front seat to its highest position to allow access, spray the PTFE lubricant onto the spring and the bar under the driver or passenger seats.
