DETAIL

A number of reports have been received concerning various electrical issues with vehicles in the above Vin range. Investigations into this issues have identified a small number of suspect electrical 6 way connectors. Due to poor manufacturing at the supplier, the 6 way connectors may by susceptible to water ingress into the terminal cavities, resulting in terminal corrosion. This corrosion may cause electrical components in these circuits to malfunction due to high resistance connections.

ACTION REQUIRED

Information only: Upon customer complaint of any of vehicles which malfunction. Inspect the connectors identified, if connector terminals are corroded or wet, replace the harness or components involved. attempt to clean affected parts and refit to vehicle..
