New Range Rover

DETAIL

With the launch of 1996 model year two additional headed keys have been included in the vehicle build specification. These keys are for emergency use only and should not be a service item. One of the headed keys is cable tied on the underside of the vehicle ( in a polythene bag on the left hand ‘A’ post chassis outrigger) for transit purposes, for entry into the vehicle in the case of a vehicle being inadvertently locked with remote keys left inside the vehicle. The second mechanical and remote key are located inside the cubby box. This technical information bulletin is for information purposes only, as the key attached to the exterior of the vehicle must be removed by the dealer prior to the vehicle being sold, and handed to the customer upon vehicle collection. Note: This bulletin supersedes NRR/07/11/95/EN due to additional information in the Action Required, detail section, and the illustration have changed,
