PROBLEM:

HANDSET FAILS TO LOCK VEHICLE The vehicle may not lock when the lock button is pressed.

CAUSE:

Handset fault.

ACTION:

Where a complaint of the above is confirmed, replace the handset with the new type, which is now available from Land Rover parts. For synchronisation of the handset, refer to Workshop Manual, Electrical, Description and Operation, resynchronisation.
