Replacement Remote Handsets
MODEL
All New range Rover Derivatives
DETAIL
An element of confusion has arisen out in the dealer network in terms of replacement remote handset transmitters. If replacing lost or broken handsets or placing orders for additional customer keys, the following must be clearly pointed out when supplying these keys: 1). Key 1 and key 2 (see label on reverse of transmitter) are REPLACEMENT keys and can only be used IN PLACE OF existing remotes once they have been synchronised. Once NEW keys 1 and 2 have been synchronised the OLD keys will not operate. 2). Key 3 and key 4 are EXTRA keys and are ADDITIONAL to key 1 and key 2. Once synchronised keys 3 and 4 can be used alongside keys 1 and 2. ( NOTE: Keys 3 and 4 will not operate the lazy seat feature).
ACTION REQUIRED
For information only. Refer to procedure below when synchronising new remotes.
