High / Low Range Pending Lamp Inoperative
MODEL
New Range Rover
DETAIL
A high/low range pending lamp has been included in the instrument pack from the above vin number, this lamp will flash to indicate that a range change from high/low or low/high is being carried out.
NOTE: It should be noted that although this facility has been included, it is at present inoperative.
Testbook diagnostics caters for this facility although the vehicle electric pack is not being fitted with the pending lamp. The instrument pack pending lamp test on Testbook will ask the Technician to tick a box to identify whether the pending lamp is operating, if this box is not ticked during the course of the diagnostics an error will occur and repair required.
ACTION REQUIRED
Information only: Please inform all workshop Technicians that they should always tick the check box to say that the pending lamp is working. Ensure the high/low pending lamp test box is ticked until such time that this facility is included in the vehicle specification.
