About the Range Rover
The Range Rover was launched in 1970 as an everyday four-wheel drive that could be both a working vehicle and a family car, and it moved steadily upmarket. The second generation (P38) arrived in 1994 and the third (L322) in 2001; it shares parts with the BMW X5 (E53). Range Rover is now a luxury sub-brand of Jaguar Land Rover.
