Verify the customer complaint of wrinkled seat cover material. (Figure 1)

Refer to RAVE/GTR section 78.30.02 and remove the front seat cushion cover.

NOTE:

When pressed, the cushion will feel significantly softer than other portions of the cushion in the area where the wrinkles are obvious.

Press around the suspect area to inspect the front seat cushion for splitting, voids and cavities. (Figure 2)

If splitting, voids or cavities are evident, replace the seat cushion with a new specification seat cushion (HGB500100).

5.

Install the seat cover following RAVE/GTR procedures.

6.

If there is no evidence of splitting, voids or cavities, further investigation will be required.

7.

Install the seat cover.
