Crash Sensor - Side

Service repair No - 76.74.11

Before disconnecting the battery, ensure all text and cautions in the battery disconnection section are observed.

WARNING:  
It is imperative that before any work is undertaken on the SRS system, the appropriate information is read thoroughly.
Always disconnect both battery leads before beginning work on the SRS system. Disconnect the negative lead first. Never reverse connect the
battery.

Remove

1. Make the SRS system safe. 
2. Remove 'B' post upper trim. 

3. Disconnect multiplug from crash sensor.
4. Remove 2 Torx screws securing crash sensor and remove sensor.

Refit

1. Fit crash sensor and tighten Torx screws to 4 Nm (3 lbf.ft).
2. Connect multiplug.
3. Fit 'B' post upper trim.
4. Connect battery leads, earth lead last.
