Identify the rubber buffer within the latch assembly (Figure 1).

Remove the rubber buffer using needle-nosed pliers, pulling the buffer away from the latch.

Install the new rubber buffer onto the latch tab using needle nosed pliers.

^

Return the seat back to its upright latched position.

^

Release and latch seat back several times to ensure correct operation.

Repeat step 3 for the latch on the opposite side of the seat.

5.

Verify that the rattle has been corrected.
