Water Pump: Service and Repair
WATER PUMP REPLACEMENT
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Drain engine coolant.
3. Remove cooling fan and viscous coupling assembly and drive belt.
4. Remove fan shroud.
5. Remove water pump pulley.
6. Disconnect inlet hose from water pump.
7. Remove water pump.
8. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten to specification.
