Rear License Plate Lamp

AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE:

CONDITION SUMMARY:

REAR LICENSE PLATE LAMP ASSEMBLY LOOSE

A customer may report a concern that one or both of the rear license plate lamp assemblies is loose.

Cause:
Dimensional tolerances in the opening of the liftgate window glass trim panel, where the rear license plate lamp assemblies are located, can interfere with
the correct insertion and engagement of the lamp assembly. The clip can be damaged by the interference.

Action:
Should a customer complain about a loose license plate lamp, refer to the Repair Procedure detailed in this bulletin.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

INSPECT AND REPAIR LICENSE PLATE LAMP ASSEMBLY

Open the upper liftgate.

2.

Verify if one or both of the lamp assemblies is loose.
