Air Silencer: Service and Repair

Air Suspension Muffler 

Service Repair No - 64.50.01

Removal 

1. WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands. 

Raise and support the vehicle.

2. Remove the muffler assembly.
3. Remove the evaporative emissions canister.
4. Remove the air suspension compressor.
5. Remove the air suspension compressor upper cover.

6. Disconnect the air suspension intake filter pipe.
7. Remove the air suspension muffler.

Release clip from the air suspension muffler pipe.

Release the air suspension compressor to air suspension silencer pipes.

Installation 

1. Install the air suspension muffler.

Locate the air suspension muffler pipes.

Secure the clip.

2. Connect the air suspension intake filter.

3. CAUTION: Make sure the air suspension compressor upper cover is correctly positioned.

Install the air suspension compressor upper cover.

4. Install the air suspension compressor.
5. Install the evaporative emissions canister.
6. Install the muffler assembly.
