Wheel Speed Sensor: Service and Repair
Speed Sensor, Rear

REAR SPEED SENSOR

REMOVAL

1. Remove Speed Sensor.

(a) Remove the seat cushion and side seatback.

Rear Speed Sensor Connector

(b) Disconnect the Speed Sensor connector, and pull out the sensor wire harness with the grommet.

2. Remove Speed Sensor.

Rear Speed Sensor Removal

(a) Remove the 2 clamp bolts holding the sensor wire harness to the body and Shock Absorber. 

Torque: 5.5 Nm (56 kg.cm, 49 inch lbs.)

(b) Remove the Speed Sensor from the Axle Carrier. 

Torque: 7.8 Nm (80 kg.cm, 69 inch lbs.)

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE:  After installation, check Speed Sensor signal.
