Pull the seat cushion forward and remove.

2.

Remove The Rear Seat Back Assembly.

A.

Remove the 4 bolts that secure the seat back bottom to the frame.

B.

Lift the rear seat back assembly to detach the 3 fasteners from the clips.

C.

Pull the entire assembly forward and lift the trunk pass-through insulating material to expose the V-brace.

3.

Tighten V-Brace.

A.

Retighten the 2 bolts and the 4 nuts on the V-Brace.

Torque:

Bolts: 40 N.m (408 kgf.cm, 30 ft.lbf)

Nuts: 20 N.m (205 kgf.cm, 15 ft.lbf)

4.

Install Rear Seat Back Assembly.

A.

Install the rear seat back assembly and the 4 bolts.

Torque: 18.1 N.m (185 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)
