B. Using a T20 TORX driver remove the screw.

NOTE

The deflector arm is pushed up due to the reaction force of the spring. Be sure to hold it down when removing the screw.

C. Insert a small flat blade screwdriver between the e-ring and the post and rotate counter-clockwise to remove the e-ring.

NOTE

Be careful not to lose the E-ring in the moonroof assembly, as this may result in abnormal noise.

D. Remove the pin and then remove the collar.

NOTE

Be careful not to drop or lose the cushion in the moonroof assembly, as this may result in abnormal noise.

E. Remove the sliding roof deflector arm sub-assembly with the cushion attached.

3. Install the Sliding Roof Deflector Arm Sub-Assembly LH.
