Do NOT allow the weight to come into contact with the seatback when placing it on the seat cushion.

Place the weight in the area shown in the illustration.

6.

Check that the passenger airbag ON/OFF indicator indicates ON.

Seat Inspection Procedure

1.

Check the power seat operation.

2.

Check the seat heater operation (with seat heater system).

A.

Turn the engine switch ON.

B.

Turn the seat heater switch ON.

C.

Wait 5 minutes or more and confirm that the seat surface becomes warm.

SRS Inspection Procedure

1.

Turn the engine switch ON, and check that the SRS warning light comes ON for approximately 6 seconds (primary check).

2.

Check that the SRS warning light goes OFF approximately 6 seconds after the engine switch is turned ON (constant check).
