Cruise Control Switch: Service and Repair
Installation
CRUISE CONTROL: CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH: INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH
(a) Install the switch with the 2 screws.
Torque: 1.7 to 3.0 Nm (17 to 31 kgf-cm, 15 to 27 in-lbf)
(b) Connect the connector.
2. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY
For 2GR-FSE See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering Column/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation
For 1UR-FSE See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering Column/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation
3. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL PAD See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Steering Pad/Installation
4. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL NO. 3 COVER LOWER
5. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL NO. 2 COVER LOWER
6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
7. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
NOTE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
Perform initialization See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning.
8. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
Check the SRS warning light See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Diagnosis
