Tire Pressure Monitor Receiver / Transponder: Service and Repair
Replacement

TIRE AND WHEEL: TIRE PRESSURE WARNING RECEIVER: REPLACEMENT

REPLACEMENT

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and Inspection/Programming
and Relearning.

2. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

HINT: Refer to the instructions for removal of the roof headlining assembly  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding /
Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal.

3. REMOVE TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the bolt and the tire pressure monitor receiver assembly.

4. INSTALL TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the tire pressure monitor receiver assembly with the bolt.

Torque: 7.5 Nm (77 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)

(b) Connect the connector.

5. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

HINT: Refer to the instructions for installation of the roof headlining assembly  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding /
Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Installation.

6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and Inspection/Programming
and Relearning.

7. REGISTRATION TRANSMITTER ID

HINT: 

 See: Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators/Tire Monitoring System/Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Registration.

8. INSPECT TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM

HINT:
