SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

When the engine switch is on (IG) and the rear sunshade is raised, moving the shift lever to R causes the PNP switch to send a reverse-linked signal to
the ECM. Then the ECM sends the signal through the multiplex communication line to the multiplex network rear ECU, which sends the signal to the
rear sunshade relay. The relay then lowers the rear sunshade.

PROCEDURE

1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (REVERSE SIGNAL CONTROL)

(a) Make sure that the rear sunshade lowers.
(b) Select the Active Test, use the Techstream to generate a control command, and then check that the rear sunshade can be lowered.

NG -- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (NO. 1 JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY - RELAY, BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
OK -- GO TO ELECTRONIC CONTROLLED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION (ECT)

2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (NO. 1 JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY - RELAY, BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
