NOTE:  Be sure to first tighten the nut on the vehicle rear.

2. CONNECT WIRE HARNESS

a. Attach the 2 claws.
b. Connect the 2 connector holders.

c. Connect the 6 connectors.

3. INSTALL ECM BOX COVER

a. Install the cover with the 3 bolts.

Torque: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf.cm, 49 in.lbf)

NOTE:  Make sure that the wire harness does not get caught between the parts.

4. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH
5. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
7. PERFORM REGISTRATION

a. Perform registration

8. RESET MEMORY

a. Reset memory for 2WD
b. Reset memory for 4WD

9. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

a. Perform initialization.

NOTE:  Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
