Introduction

Initialize the sliding roof after installing the DCC fuse in its original location during Pre-Delivery Service (PDS).

The installation of the DCC fuse, and the initialization procedure shown below, will enable the operation of the ~one-touch slide open and close "
"one-touch tilt up and down," and "jam protection" functions of the sliding roof.

NOTE:

Any time the battery terminal has been disconnected, the sliding roof must be re-initialized.

Applicable Vehicles

2007 model year GS 450h vehicles produced before July.

NOTE:

Initialization is NO longer necessary on GS 450h vehicles produced after July due to the addition of non-volatile memory.
