(d) Remove the 2 cable support brackets from the No. 3 parking brake cable.

INSTALLATION

Use the same procedures for the No. 2 and No. 3 parking brake cable assembly.

The procedures listed below are for the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly.

CAUTION: When the brake caliper is removed from the brake disc, do not start the hybrid system. If the hybrid system is started, the brake
fluid pressure may increase.

1. INSTALL NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a)

Install the 2 cable support brackets to the No. 3 parking brake cable.

(b) Install the No. 3 parking brake cable to the parking brake plate with the 2 nuts.

Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)

(c)

Connect the No. 3 parking brake cable to the parking brake equalizer.

(d) Install the No. 3 parking brake cable to the body with the 3 bolts and 2 clamps.

Torque: 

6.0 N*m (61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf) for bolt A
19 N*m (194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf) for bolt B
