3. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

(a)

Rotate the tensioner pulley counterclockwise to loosen the belt tension. Then remove the V belt.

NOTICE:

The pulley bolt for the belt tensioner has a left-handed thread.

Do not perform this procedure from underneath the vehicle, as the tensioner may be damaged.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

(a)

Rotate the tensioner pulley counterclockwise, and then install the V belt as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:  Check that the drive belt is properly set to each pulley.

2. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET

(a)

Install the air cleaner inlet with the bolt.
Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf)

3. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
