(a)

Align the cutout of the baffle with the protruding part of the tailpipe as shown in the illustration.

(b) Using a plastic-faced hammer, uniformly tap in the baffle onto the tailpipe until the cutout on the bottom of the baffle is aligned with the mark

on the bottom of the tailpipe.

2. INSTALL TAILPIPE ASSEMBLY

(a)

Connect the 6 exhaust pipe supports to install the tailpipe.

3. INSTALL NO. 1 EXHAUST PIPE SUPPORT BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a)

Install the support bracket with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 43 N*m (438 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf)

4. INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

(a)

Using a vernier caliper, measure the free length of the compression spring.
Minimum length: 38.5 mm (1.516 in.)
If the free length is less than the minimum, replace the compression spring.
