Air Register: Testing and Inspection
INSPECTION
1. INSPECT SMOG VENTILATION SENSOR
a. Measure the resistance of the connector (CO, HC).
1. Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 3 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 6. Measure the resistance.
If the result is not as specified, replace the sensor.
b. Measure the resistance of the connector (NOx).
1. Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 3 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 6. Measure the resistance.
If the result is not as specified, replace the sensor.
