3. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH
(a)
Remove the nut labeled A, and disconnect the stabilizer link from the stabilizer bar.
NOTICE:
Be sure to hold the stud bolt using a 6 mm hexagon wrench in order to prevent it from turning.
(b) Remove the bolt and nut labeled B and the stabilizer link.
4. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
5. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER BAR
(a)
Remove the 4 bolts, 2 stabilizer brackets, 2 rear stabilizer bushes and stabilizer bar.
INSPECTION
1. INSPECT REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY
(a)
Inspect the ball joint (rear stabilizer bar side).
(1) Temporarily install the nut, and flip the ball joint stud back and forth 5 times as shown in the illustration.
(2) Use a torque wrench to turn the nut continuously at a rate of 3 to 5 seconds per turn. Take the torque reading on the fifth turn.
Standard turning torque: 2.0 N*m (20 kgf*cm, 18 in.*lbf) or less
