Fluid Pump: Testing and Inspection

OIL PUMP RELAY 

ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION 

1. INSPECT OIL PUMP RELAY

(a)

Remove the intake duct seal.

(b) Remove the side cover.
(c)

Remove the engine room No. 1 relay block cover.

(d) Remove the relay from the engine room No. 1 relay block.

(e)

Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between each terminal.

Standard resistance

If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.

(f)

Install the relay to the engine room No. 1 relay block.

(g) Install the engine room No. 1 relay block cover.
(h) Install the side cover.
(i)

Install the intake duct seal.
