Removal

INTERIOR: ROOF HEADLINING: REMOVAL

HINT:

The installation procedures are the removal procedures in reverse order. However, only installation procedures requiring additional
information are included.

A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

Remove the front seat outer belt assembly.  See: Seats/Service and Repair/Front Seat Assembly/Removal

3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

Remove the front seat assembly.  See: Seats/Service and Repair/Front Seat Assembly/Removal

4. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

Remove the rear seat cushion assembly.  See: Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Assembly/Removal

5. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH

Remove the rear seat headrest assembly. RH  See: Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Assembly/Removal

6. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH

Remove the rear seat headrest assembly.  See: Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Assembly/Removal

7. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY CENTER

Remove the rear seat headrest assembly center.  See: Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Assembly/Removal

8. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

Remove rear seatback assembly.  See: Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Assembly/Removal

9. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX

Remove the console box.  See: Console/Service and Repair/Removal

10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

(a) Using a moulding remover, detach the 5 claws and remove the scuff plate.

11. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

HINT:

Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

12. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH

(a) Using a moulding remover, detach the 3 claws and remove the trim cover.

13. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH

HINT:

Use the same procedures described for the LH side.
