Hood Latch Release Cable: Service and Repair
Installation

DOOR / HATCH: HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Pass the hood lock control cable assembly into the engine compartment.

(b) Pass the cable through the upper radiator support.

(c) Engage each clamp.

(d) Connect the hood lock control cable assembly.

2. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the hood lock control cable assembly to the hood lock control lever sub-assembly.

(b) Engage the claw and 2 guides to install the hood lock control lever sub-assembly.

3. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL   See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH   See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Upper Instrument Panel/Installation

5. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH   See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation

6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH   See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Installation

7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH   See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Installation

8. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER LH

9. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL LH

Torque : 103 Nm (1050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)

10. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL   See: Bumper/Front Bumper/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation
