23. SEPARATE BRAKE BOOSTER WITH MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

(a) Release the lock lever and disconnect the connector.

NOTICE:
Be careful not to allow the brake fluid to enter the removed connector.

HINT
Perform this step only when the connector has not been disconnected.

(b) Remove the 4 nuts and separate the brake booster with master cylinder assembly.

24. REMOVE PUSH ROD PIN

(a) Remove the clip.

(b) Remove the push rod pin after pushing the brake booster with master cylinder assembly toward the engine compartment. This will secure

enough room to remove the push rod pin.

NOTICE:

Do not kink or damage the brake lines.

*

Do not push the brake booster with master cylinder assembly too far toward the engine compartment, or it may fall out of
position.

25. REMOVE BRAKE BOOSTER WITH MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the brake booster with master cylinder assembly.

Do not carry the brake booster with master cylinder assembly by the portion shown in the illustration.

Be careful not to allow brake fluid to enter the connector of ECU.
