Removal

2AZ-FXE COOLING: THERMOSTAT: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

2. DRAIN COOLANT (for Engine)   See: Coolant/Service and Repair/Coolant (for Engine)

3. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE   See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Assembly/Removal

4. REMOVE WATER INLET

(a) Remove the 2 nuts and the water inlet from the cylinder block.

5. REMOVE THERMOSTAT

(a) Remove the gasket from the thermostat.
