Install the gasket so that the protrusion is located as shown in the illustration.

(d) Check that there is clearance between the rod end and the lever.

(e) Connect the 2 water hoses.

2. ADD ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine)   See: Cooling System/Coolant/Service and Repair/Coolant (for Engine)

3. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK   See: Cooling System/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General Diagnostics/Cooling System

4. INSTALL FRONT NO. 3 ENGINE UNDER COVER

5. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
