Drive Motor Control Module: Service and Repair
Installation

HYBRID / BATTERY CONTROL: HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU

(a) Install the 2 ECM brackets with the 4 screws.

Torque : 3.0 Nm (31 kgf-cm, 27 in-lbf)

(b) Connect the clamp to the ECM bracket.

(c) Install the hybrid vehicle control ECU with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 13 Nm (130 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

(d) Connect the 2 connectors.

NOTICE:
*

Before connecting the connectors, make sure that dirt, water or other foreign matter is not present on the connecting parts of the
connectors.

*

The lever is securely engaged.

*

The connector does not come out when its body is pulled.

4. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Engine Assembly/Installation

5. INSTALL COWL TOP PANEL OUTER SUB-ASSEMBLY

6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL   See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Installation

7. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT   See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Installation

8. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
