Seat Belt Control Module: Service and Repair
Installation

PRE-COLLISION: SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU

(a) Engage the 2 claws to install the seat belt control ECU as shown in the illustration.

2. INSTALL ECU INTEGRATION BOX RH   See: Power and Ground Distribution/Power Distribution Module/Service and Repair/Installation

3. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument

Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Upper Instrument Panel/Installation

4. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY   See: Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Knee Airbag Assembly (for Front Passenger Side)/Installation

5. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard /

Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Upper Instrument Panel/Installation

6. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Upper Instrument Panel/Installation

7. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH

8. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH

9. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL   See: Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Removal and

11. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT   See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Installation

12. PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK

(a) Perform diagnostic system check    See: Air Bag Systems/Testing and Inspection/Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes/DTC Check

/ Clear.

13. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT

(a) Inspect the SRS warning light    See: Air Bag Systems/Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Diagnosis System.
