SST : 09961-00950

without SST - Torque : 8.5 Nm (87 kgf-cm, 75 in-lbf)

with SST - Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

NOTICE:
*

Do not depress the brake pedal after turning the power switch on (IG).

*

Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 185 mm (7.28 in.).

*

This torque value is effective when SST is parallel to the torque wrench.

(8) Turn the power switch off.

(9) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

NOTICE:
w/ navigation system:

After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of
memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the
cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

(10) Disconnect the Techstream.

4. INSTALL DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

HINT

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Knee Airbag Assembly (for Driver Side)/Installation.

5. CHECK FOR AND CLEAR DTC

(a) Check for and clear the DTCs    See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Testing and Inspection/Reading

and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

6. PERFORM LINEAR VALVE OFFSET LEARNING

(a) Perform linear valve offset learning    See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Testing and

Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Initialization.
