Removal

REAR SUSPENSION: REAR COIL SPRING: REMOVAL

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

2. REMOVE REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Height Control Sensor)   See: Lighting and Horns/Headlamp/Headlamp

Alignment Sensor/Service and Repair/Removal

3. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION ARM COVER   See: Control Arm/Service and Repair/Rear Lower Arm/Removal

4. REMOVE REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER COVER LH (for LH Side)   See: Control Arm/Service and Repair/Rear Lower Arm/Removal

5. REMOVE REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER COVER RH (for RH Side)   See: Control Arm/Service and Repair/Rear Lower Arm/Removal

6. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE   See: Stabilizer Bar/Service and Repair/Rear Stabilizer Bar/Removal

7. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY   See: Stabilizer Bar/Service and Repair/Rear Stabilizer Bar/Removal

8. REMOVE REAR COIL SPRING

(a) Support the rear axle assembly with a jack using a wooden block as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:
Keep supporting the rear axle assembly with a jack until the installation of the rear coil spring has been completed.

(b) Support the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly using a jack and wooden block.
