FRONT SUSPENSION: FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER: REMOVAL

Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

2. REMOVE FRONT WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the front wiper motor and link assembly    See: Wiper and Washer Systems/Wiper Motor/Service and Repair/Removal.

3. REMOVE WATER GUARD PLATE RH   See: Brakes and Traction Control/Power Brake Assist/Vacuum Brake Booster/Service and

Repair/Removal

4. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER AIR DUCT SPLASH SHIELD SEAL   See: Brakes and Traction Control/Power Brake Assist/Vacuum Brake

7. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION SUPPORT DUST COVER

(a) Remove the front suspension support dust cover.

8. SEPARATE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY
