INTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: REAR SUNSHADE SYSTEM: OPERATION CHECK
1. CHECK MANUAL OPERATION
(a) Turn the power switch on (IG).
(b) When the rear sunshade is lowered, push the rear sunshade switch. Check that the rear sunshade is raised.
(c) When the rear sunshade is raised, push the rear sunshade switch. Check that the rear sunshade is lowered.
2. CHECK REAR SUNSHADE OPERATION AFTER POWER SWITCH IS TURNED OFF
(a) Turn the power switch from on (IG) to off, and check that the rear sunshade can be operated.
(b) Turn the power switch from on (IG) to off and wait for approximately 60 seconds. Check that the rear sunshade cannot be operated.
3. CHECK SHIFT-LINKED FUNCTION
(a) Turn the power switch on (IG).
(b) When the rear sunshade is raised, move the shift lever to R. Check that the rear sunshade is lowered.
(c) Then, when any of the following conditions is met, check that the rear sunshade is raised.
*
The rear sunshade switch is pushed.
*
The P position switch (transmission shift main switch) is pushed.
*
The shift lever is moved to D or B and the vehicle speed reaches 15 km/h (9.3 mph) or more.
