3. INSPECT HEADLIGHT CLEANER CONTROL RELAY

a. Inspect headlight cleaner control relay operation.

1. Measure the resistance between terminals 4 (E) and 6 (PB).
2. Connect the positive (+) battery lead to terminal 3 (IG) of the connector, and the negative (-) battery lead to terminal 4 (E).

3. Connect the negative (-) battery lead to terminals 1 (HOLD) and 2 (H), and measure the resistance between terminals 4 (E) and 6 (PB).
4. Disconnect the negative (-) battery lead from terminal 1 (HOLD) and 2 (H).
5. Disconnect the positive (+) battery lead from terminal 3 (IG), and then reconnect it.
