DESCRIPTION
This may occur when the intensity of telephone radio frequency was very weak, PRL updates are required, or the Safety Connect system has a
malfunction and a DTC is set.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK COMMUNICATION SERVICE CONDITION
(a) Move the vehicle.
(1) If the vehicle is outside the communication service area, move the vehicle to a communication service area, wait for a while and
perform the operation again.
OK:
Same problem does not occur.
NG -- CHECK DTC
OK -- END
2. CHECK DTC
(a) Turn the engine switch off.
(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(c) Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait for 10 seconds.
(d) Turn the Techstream on.
(e) Perform "HEALTH CHECK" and check for current DTCs See: Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Safety Connect
System/Health Check.
