Convertible Top Motor: Testing and Inspection
Removable Roof Panel Motor

SLIDING ROOF / CONVERTIBLE: FRONT REMOVABLE ROOF PANEL MOTOR: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Apply battery voltage to the motor connector according to the table below.

OK:

(b) Connect an electrical tester DC 400 A probe to the wire harness of the motor.

NOTICE:
Match the arrow mark of the probe with the direction of the current flow.

(c) Measure the current according to the value(s) in the table below.

NOTICE:
Make sure to perform the inspection after the motor cools down sufficiently. Otherwise the result may not meet the specified condition
due to protection circuit operation in the motor.
