Rear Brake Flexible Hose

Removal

BRAKE (REAR): REAR BRAKE FLEXIBLE HOSE: REMOVAL

NOTICE:
If both the left and right hoses are disconnected at the same time, be sure to place identification marks indicating the position on each
side.

Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

The following procedure is for the LH side.

1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

2. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID

NOTICE:
If brake fluid leaks onto any painted surface, immediately wash it off.

3. REMOVE REAR FLEXIBLE HOSE

(a) Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the rear flexible hose from the brake line.

NOTICE:
*

Do not bend or damage the brake line.

*

Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the brake line.

(b) Remove the clip from the rear flexible hose, and separate the rear flexible hose from the body bracket.
