PARKING BRAKE: PARKING BRAKE SWITCH (for Automatic Transmission): REMOVAL

1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

2. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX

3. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX DUCT   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

4. REMOVE DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

5. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR FOOTREST LH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Foot Rest/Service and Repair/Removal

6. SEPARATE FRONT FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY   See: Parking Brake Pedal/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

7. REMOVE NO. 3 DASH PANEL INSULATOR PAD   See: Parking Brake Pedal/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

8. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR SILENCER PAD LH

9. REMOVE REAR AIR DUCT GUIDE LH

10. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 AIR DUCT

11. SEPARATE PARKING BRAKE CONTROL PEDAL ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 nuts and separate the instrument panel junction block assembly.

(b) Remove the 3 nuts and separate the parking brake control pedal assembly from the body.
