Oil Level Sensor: Service and Repair
Removal

4GR-FSE LUBRICATION: OIL LEVEL SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. DRAIN ENGINE OIL   See: Engine Lubrication/Engine Oil/Service and Repair/Replacement

2. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH   See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Assembly/Removal

3. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER RH   See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Assembly/Removal

4. REMOVE NO. 1 BODY MOUNTING BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY LH   See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

5. REMOVE NO. 1 BODY MOUNTING BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY RH   See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

6. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER

7. REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the engine oil level sensor connector.

(b) Remove the 4 bolts and oil level sensor.

(c) Cut off the gasket as shown in the illustration.

(d) Remove the gasket from the oil level sensor.

HINT
After cutting away the parts of the gasket shown in the illustration, remove only the outer part of the gasket.
