(a) Install a new gasket as shown in the illustration.

(b) Install the exhaust manifold sub-assembly RH with 6 new nuts.

RH

Torque : 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:

Do not damage the stud bolts when installing the exhaust manifold.

*

Be sure to tighten either of nuts A first as show in the illustration.

9. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE   See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle

10. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Assembly/Installation

13. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL   See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Assembly/Installation

14. INSTALL NO. 1 EXHAUST PIPE SUPPORT BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission)

(a) Install the No. 1 exhaust pipe support bracket sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.
