Removal

BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: SKID CONTROL BUZZER: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

CAUTION:
Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing    See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Service Precautions.

NOTICE:
w/ Navigation System for HDD:

After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of
memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the
cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH   See: Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

6. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal

and Replacement/Removal

7. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

8. REMOVE DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY   See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Knee Airbag Assembly (for Driver Side)/Removal

9. REMOVE SKID CONTROL BUZZER ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the clamp and skid control buzzer assembly.

(b) Disconnect the connector from the skid control buzzer assembly
